So, I know how you’re felling, I've been there too, but I found out some great tips for a great speech and using those tips I managed to make a memorable speech that surprised everybody present at the weeding so in the next few articles I’ll show you how to build your own groom wedding speech.

Tips for a great Wedding Groom Speech

Let’s start. First, you have to understand that even though for the moment it seems to be a big challenge, writing a great wedding groom speech is not so hard, but you have to keep in mind a few simple rules and follow some guidelines. But the first thing you have to do, before doing anything else is to relax and start thinking positive. Even though there is only a week left to the wedding, you have plenty of time to write your groom speech, so you don’t need to worry anymore.

So, the most important thing you should do in the first place is to be confident that you are writing a good wedding speech and all the people present at the wedding will enjoy it and will applause you at the end. If you are confident that what you are writing is good, then it will come through in your writing.

When you begin your speech you should thank all of your guests for coming to your wedding. You want to keep it simple. Just welcome them and say thank you for coming.

Then, you should thank to your parents and the parents of the bride for their support, for their lovely daughter, for their trust in you and all these kind of things. Then you should also thank to all the people involved in the wedding ceremony. Although, keep in mind that you don’t want your groom speech to sound like a thank you list, with a bunch of names and reasons to thank them for. You have to keep it simple.

A great idea might be to get your bride involved in your wedding groom speech. Tell her how lucky you are that you met her and marry her. There are a lot of things to say about this, so just think about 5 reasons for which you are happy and thankful to her for being your wife. You should put some emotions in your wedding groom speech, because that touches all the people there and they’ll applause you at the end like you’ve never been applauded before.

In the next article we’ll see some more tips for writing a great groom speech for the wedding.
